Fall 2024 Part-time Offshore Wind Energy Internship

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate students with backgrounds in engineering, business, marketing, environmental studies, or graphic design to join our team for a fall part-time internship. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects focusing on offshore wind, environmental sustainability, business development, and marketing. This internship offers valuable experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically offshore wind. This is a Part-time (20 hours/week) hybrid internship during Fall 2024.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and analysis on an array of projects.
  • Assisting in research and development projects.
  • Contributing to marketing efforts through content creation, social media management, and campaign development.
  • Writing reports, articles, and other communication materials on environmental topics and project updates.
  • Monitoring news outlets and other internet sources for updates on offshore wind.
  • Attending meetings in an administrative role.
  • Helping in the development of business strategies and plans for expanding our presence in the offshore wind sector.
  • Performing various administrative tasks.
  • Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and trends in the renewable energy industry.
  • Designing and developing presentations to communicate project findings, proposals, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Participating in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and workshops to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Creating visually appealing posters and graphics to support marketing and outreach activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in environmental sustainability and renewable energy, with a desire to contribute to meaningful projects.
  • A self-starter and the ability to work independently on projects.
  • Currently enrolled or completed a degree in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (engineering, business, marketing, environmental studies, or graphic design).
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience in project management, marketing, or environmental advocacy is a plus.
