Our exceptional Lead Quality Consultant, Scott Cumming, will now be acting as Head of Quality Competence Center here at LAUTEC.
Scott joined us in 2022 after nearly seven years at Ørsted, bringing with him a passion for renewable energy, a keen eye for quality, and an eagerness for new challenges.
Throughout his decade-long career in the industry, Scott has played a pivotal role in supporting the construction of over 1.5 GW of offshore wind power. His extensive knowledge in all areas of quality assurance, fabrication, and quality surveillance has been an invaluable asset to our consultancy from his very first day and we are overjoyed to be able to take this next step in his career with him.
At LAUTEC, he has devoted his time and expertise to support the Vineyard Wind project as WTG Quality Manager, ensuring quality compliance and on-time delivery of the entire fabrication.
In his new role as Head of Quality Competence Center, he will use his talents to refine and enhance our overall inspection and fabrication strategies and processes, ensuring that we continue to deliver top-quality consulting services to our clients. We know he will excel at leading LAUTEC and our clients toward even greater achievements in quality management for renewable energy projects around the world.
