Our Client Representatives support offshore infrastructure from load out and topside installation through to mechanical completion, commissioning, energization, and operational readiness.
At the Client’s direction, they assist with marine operations coordination, monitor interfaces between contractors and project teams, and witness vessel transfers, heavy lifts, and walk-to-work campaigns.
They also oversee installation quality across electrical, mechanical, and control systems. During commissioning, our Client Reps witness functional testing and compile traceable evidence for HVAC export systems, auxiliary power, SCADA, protection, and control. This evidence supports Client sign-off.
Furthermore, our Client Reps track progress against commissioning schedules, support the collation of technical documentation and energization protocols owned by the Client, and maintain strict HSE and procedural compliance. Their work continues until the OSS is energized under the Client’s authority and handed into operations.
Cables Package
Includes management and monitoring of the installation of array cables, and export cables.
Our Client Representatives witness and verify all Offshore Export Cable (OEC) and Inter Array Cable (IAC) activities from start to finish.
They assist with pre–pull in readiness checks, HDD landfall interfaces, and offshore lay operations, while recording trenching, burial, and mattress deployment.
LAUTEC Client Reps also oversee OEC pull ins at landfall and the OSS, and compile evidence packages to support onshore and offshore Termination & Testing (T&T), ensuring seamless integration from the substation to the grid connection.
For the IACs, they track, and document IAC lay and burial between turbines, witness turbine and OSS pull ins and preparations, and prepare documentation to support Client T&T approvals. This ensures that each turbine is correctly linked and verified.
Throughout the project, our Client Reps document load outs, vessel mobilizations, lay/burial and survey campaigns, and monitor operations involving trenchers, mass flow excavators, ROV systems, and jetting tools, coordinating procedures and records without replacing existing Client interfaces and maintaining strict compliance with HSE, Client specifications, and industry best practice.
Foundations Package
Includes management of monopiles, jackets, and transition pieces during mobilization, loadout, installation, and commissioning.
LAUTEC Client Representatives specializing in Foundations witness, verify, and report on pin‑pile installation including for OSS, jacket installation, heavy lift operations, and grouting.
They continuously check adherence to method statements and weather limits and confirm the completion of as‑built data to support structural integrity. Any deviations will be promptly escalated to the Client for direction.
LAUTEC Client Reps support oversight of installation through rigorous QA/QC activities, ensuring Client processes are followed and evidenced.
They also witness scour protection installation (rock dumping, filtering) and grouting operations, including HSCT where applicable, verifying execution against specification and compiling quality records for the Client’s acceptance prior to progression.
WTG Package
Includes supervision of the manufacturing, transportation, loadout, installation, and commissioning of turbine, nacelle, blade, and tower.
Our WTG Client Reps oversee tower, nacelle, and blade lifts, as well as track and expedite carry over‑punch‑list clearance right through to hand‑over, at the Client’s direction.
They verify each lift for contractor compliance with approved procedures and safety protocols. In addition, they assist interface management with vessel crews and OEM commissioning teams, assessing readiness for weather windows and heavy lift operations.
LAUTEC Client Reps monitor defect/NCR status and technical queries, escalate and close actions, maintain clear daily reporting, and compile closure evidence for the Client’s acceptance.
They support the mechanical completion and commissioning of turbines and the OSS by verifying tests and energization readiness so that every system is evidenced as tested and operational on schedule for Client approval.
