Inch Cape Selects LAUTEC SaaS Platform to Improve Construction Operations

The LAUTEC SaaS platform has been selected to provide real-time construction tracking for Scotland’s 1.1 GW Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm.

As part of the contract, LAUTEC will deliver ongoing IT support for its SaaS platform, including the DPR, WindGIS, and Analytics modules. These tools will offer the Inch Cape project team real-time insights, intuitive visualizations, and a clear, centralized overview of construction progress.

By turning complex project data into actionable information, the software will improve operational efficiency, support informed decision-making, and enable timely execution across all phases of the build.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Inch Cape team to help ensure the success of the project,” said Henrik Iversen, Managing Partner and Head of IT at LAUTEC. “Our SaaS platform will make the project teams’ daily work easier, giving them the tools they need to quickly and accurately collect, analyze, and act on important project data throughout the construction phase.”

The 1.1 GW Inch Cape project is being developed by a joint venture between Red Rock Renewables and ESB. Located 15 kilometers off the Angus coast, the project’s 72 turbines will generate enough clean electricity to power more than 1.4 million Scottish homes when operational in 2027. It will be among Scotland’s largest offshore wind farms, contributing significantly to the country’s renewable energy capacity.

LAUTEC’s involvement highlights the recognized cost advantages of investing in proven, industry-specific software to support the high-risk delivery of large-scale wind projects.
