LAUTEC Partners with the Renewable Construction Academy

LAUTEC is excited to announce our new partnership with the Renewable Construction Academy (RECOA), aimed at developing renewable energy courses that encourage and shape careers in offshore wind. This partnership represents a much-needed shift in the accessibility of education in the renewable energy industry and we are proud to be a part of a platform that helps enhance professional development through providing expert online instruction.

Introducing the ‘Renewable Change Control Management’ Specialist Course

Together with RECOA, we’d like to introduce the new specialist course titled “Renewable Change Control Management” (RCCM). Recognizing the critical importance of change control management in renewable projects, RCCM empowers industry professionals with essential skills crucial for organizational success. Led by our CEO of LAUTEC Australia, Satya Tanner, the course focuses on establishing robust change control processes, governance structures, and proactive management strategies, all geared towards averting deviations from the original project budget, schedule, and scope.

Key highlights of the RCCM course include:

  1. Fundamentals of Change Control Management: Providing a solid foundation in the principles and practices of change control management.
  2. Role of Renewable Change Control Manager in Developer Organizations: Offering insight into the RCCM role’s integration within the processes of developer organizations.
  3. Relationship between Project Team and RCCM: Allowing developers to understand the dynamic relationship between their project teams and the role of the Renewable Change Control Manager.

As course instructor, Satya Tanner brings a wealth of expertise to the course, having 8 years of experience in the offshore wind industry in Denmark and Australia. Satya’s specialist understanding of project controls, her international experience, and her certifications as a Project Management Professional and Chartered professional engineer make her a distinguished instructor.
