2021 is almost in the books – and what a year it has been for LAUTEC! Let’s take a look at some of our highlights this year.
ESOX: 1000 Users from 55 Countries
Only one year ago, we launched ESOX – a free and Excel-based tool to run weather downtime simulations across offshore sites worldwide. This year, more than 1200 people from 57 countries downloaded our ESOX tool to analyze offshore sites globally.

Sea Impact Was Runner-Up at Wind Europe’s Innovation Award
Together with PEAK Wind, we introduced Sea Impact – a tool for innovative performance insights into offshore wind projects built to date. We are thrilled that Sea Impact was selected as one of the top 3 innovations at Wind Europe’s Electric City event in Copenhagen this year.
Good to know: The Sea Impact team constantly publishes interesting data insights into specific offshore wind farms on its website and LinkedIn.
Redefining Offshore Wind Surveys with Ocean Exploration Technology
Bedrock is a US-based company building new vertically-integrated systems to provide the world with the first detailed map of our oceans. Combining Bedrock’s technology with LAUTEC’s industry experience has led to a strong partnership that redefines survey services for offshore wind.

LAUTEC IT System Integration
We offer a range of IT systems that help developers realize their renewable energy projects faster, cheaper and smarter. Earlier this year, we integrated most of our IT systems into one combined platform providing single sign-on.

Hosting the First Golf Event for the Wind Industry
In October, LAUTEC and New Power Partners brought together wind industry peers at the Sunshine Valley Golf Club in Guanxi, Taiwan. More than 100 participants from over 30 companies joined the Inaugural Taiwan Wind Industry Golf Event, combining a golf tournament with networking opportunities.
