The TetraSpar Demonstrator, an impressive joint project by Stiesdal, RWE, Shell, and TEPCO, introduced the TetraSpar concept for floating wind foundations, consisting of a tubular steel structure with a suspended keel.
In operation since 2021, TetraSpar uses a 3.6MW wind turbine 10 kilometers off the Norwegian coast at a water depth of 200 meters.
