PMO Consultant (Project Controls Manager) for Global Offshore Wind Consultancy

The Role 

We are looking for a PMO Consultant to work full-time as part of a historically significant offshore wind farm project.  By joining our international PMO team, you will support our clients in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget and scope, and following the required safety and quality standards. Moreover, you will support project scheduling and reporting activities. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Be a part of LAUTEC’s global PMO team and ensure knowledge sharing across projects 
  • Roll out our PMO framework as a consultant to renewable energy projects 
  • Ensure the successful implementation and optimization of the PMO’s strategy responsibilities, services, and deliverables 
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule in Primavera P6 
  • Support risk management activities on the project 
  • Support control of the project scope and interfaces 
  • Gather lessons learned and participate in structuring project documentation 
  • Present project progress, performance, as well as forecasts to the project’s senior management 
  • Develop strategic communication material for the project leadership team 

What We’re Looking For 

Bringing the below skills and qualities will make it easier to succeed in this role: 

  • Relevant degree or study program within Engineering or similar, paired with a general interest in developing renewable energy projects 
  • 5+ years of work experience from a similar role in the Civil Construction, Infrastructure,  or related industry 
  • A proactive mindset to take ownership of solving problems 
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera (alternatively, good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and aptitude to quickly learn Primavera)  
  • Visual/written communication skills in Microsoft PowerPoint 
  • Competences equivalent to PMP  
  • Strong expertise in planning, and good knowledge of risk, interface management, and cost control 
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex matters in a professional and straightforward way 
  • You are highly motivated, flexible, and agile with a can-do attitude 
  • You are a team player with a curious and innovative mindset who likes to challenge the status quo
