Junior PMO Consultant for Offshore Wind Projects

The Role

We are looking for a Junior PMO Consultant to support across our portfolio of renewable energy projects – predominantly within the offshore wind industry.

We offer a dynamic and flexible work environment, where you will be working with industry leaders on a number of exciting multi-billion-dollar projects. Our clients are predominantly developers and fund managing companies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the PMO Manager in establishing and operating the PMO for a project
  • Develop and implement PMO processes and procedures, supporting the overall governance and controls
  • Assist in establishing and implementing the Change Management and Risk Management processes
  • Develop and coordinate various reports and dashboards with varying levels of details, on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Support in developing, monitoring, and controlling the project schedule (during the development, construction, and installation phases)
  • Liaise with stakeholders and organize workshops with Package Managers to gather inputs
  • Analyze and verify inputs and incorporate them in the overall project schedule and PMO Reports
  • Update project schedules in Primavera P6 and issue frequent updates to the project team (Level 1 – 3)
  • Implement comprehensive analyses of the critical path, baseline deviation, and delay risks
  • Support Package Managers with the preparation of ad-hoc schedules/analyses

About You

To succeed in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualities:

  • Passion for working with early-stage large-scale renewable energy projects 
  • Strong coordination and facilitation skills and ability to deliver on multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Project Planning & Scheduling and/or PMO – ideally from the wind power, construction, or similar industry and experience 
  • Knowledge of Scope, Cost, Risk, and Documentation Management
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced project environment
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward way
  • A systematic approach to your work and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions 
  • Outstanding skills at building relationships, communicating, and influencing, enabling you to create results through teamwork, as a member of a global and virtual team
  • Based in Victoria with Australian working rights
