Join Our Team in Melbourne as Junior Planning Consultant

The Role

As our Junior Planning Consultant, you will support our portfolio of renewable energy projects with planning and PMO services – predominantly within the offshore wind industry. You will be part of a dynamic and flexible work environment, collaborating with industry leaders on a number of exciting multi-billion dollar projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and control the project schedule (during the development, construction, and installation phases)
  • Organize workshops with Package Managers to gather schedule inputs
  • Update the project schedule and issue frequent updates to the project team (Level 1 – 3)
  • Provide comprehensive analyses of the critical path, baseline deviation, and delay risks
  • Support Package Managers with the preparation of ad-hoc schedules and analyses
  • Prepare project reports and other material for various workshops and meetings
  • Support the team on other tasks when needed

About You

To succeed in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualities:

  • Relevant work experience as part of a project team – ideally, within project planning and scheduling/PMO in the wind power, construction, or similar industry 
  • Knowledge of scope, cost, risk, and documentation management
  • Excellent user of Primavera P6 or similar
  • Knowledge of MS Project and project management certificates from recognized institutes (PMP, PMI, Agile, etc.) are a plus
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex matters in a professional way
  • You are highly motivated, flexible, and agile with a can-do attitude
  • You are a team player with a curious and innovative mindset who likes to challenge the status quo
